Who washes the floors at your house?

Picture this:
Me on my hands and knees scrubbing the kitchen floor
Isaac begging to help
Me giving in and handing over the sponge thinking that I could move on to another project
Isaac coming upstairs to find me
Me telling him, "get back down there and scrub the floor Cinderella"
Isaac coming back to get me saying, "mom, you gotta come see this"

I just about peed my pants I was laughing so hard!

Out with the old

This marks the beginning of many renovations that will be taking place at the Gulliver household. It only seemed fitting to start with the front door.

Then I moved on to the bathroom. We will be taking it one step at a time...

My helpers! Isaac has been the best helper EVER! Although, he said it was kinda like being a slave. I told him that slaves didn't offer to help or get paid. It turns out he offered and is getting paid $50,000 (don't tell his dad)!

The big IKEA trip is planned for Saturday... after much assembly, f-bombs and pictures, I will post updates!

Where have you been?

Holy crap has it been a long time since I have posted anything... I almost forgot how to type! So, I will start at April 1: We bought a house! We bought the house in Rockford. We swore that we would never send our kids to Rockford... at least I know that they will have great educational opportunities!

Since then, We celebrated Easter (at our house): Joe and Sara surprised us and came home for the weekend!

The Miss grew hair - long enough for pig tails!

Isaac passed his Kindergarten screening and will start at Meadow Ridge in the fall.

I planted a garden of Tomatoes, peppers, beans, peas, squash, zucchini, carrots, strawberries and some herbs.

We scored free internet (as long as Sherry is here to hold the cord like so)

We went camping twice - Camp Concordia and PJ Hoffmaster

We ate at Jimmy John's
Irelynn likes to wear shoes now

We bought and Rob installed a new dishwasher

Isaac turned 5!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dad got new hair for Father's Day (he glued it to his motorcycle helmet)

Nana tried to get the Miss to enjoy the water...

Irelynn started walking and talking.
